Have you jumped onto the Essential Oil bandwagon? If you haven't noticed, people are talking about Essential Oils everywhere! Maybe you have a friend who is a distributor and are already buying or maybe this is brand new to you! I began looking into essential oils when a friend suggested Peppermint Oil for Migraines, Now I use them almost daily. My favorite oils to use are Peppermint, Grapefruit and Lemon. We are trying to live a more toxic free life and that started our journey with Essential Oils.
There are many different companies that you can buy your oils from some MLM (Multi-Level Marketing) or Non MLM. The key is finding a company that you're able to research and get independent testing from. I have tried most of the oil compani…

To my Husband...who doesn't hear this enough

Watching you become a Father has been one of the most wonderful experiences I've ever gone through. You do fatherhood so well! I knew I loved you but watching you become a Daddy, has made my love for you grow deeper. As I'm sitting here writing this, you are asleep but tomorrow you will wake up early and be ready to take on the next day.  You work so hard to provide for us and then come home and are ready to embrace being daddy. So to my Husband, who doesn't hear this enough...Thank you!

Thank you for loving our daughter. From the moment we found out I was expecting, you were so excited to become a father. I had never seen you smile as brightly as the day she was born. From her very first cry to those late night feedings, you were there and ready to help in anyway you could. You have embraced fatherhood full force and I can never thank you enough for loving our daughter.

Top 4 reasons to keep Grandma's Pyrex and How to spot a good vintage buy

There is nothing prettier to me than a Simple Buttercream Iced Cake on a Jadeite Cake Stand.  The Bold, Jade color makes the cake pop and gives it just a little added class! I am a Dish Collector and love the thrill of hunting for Vintage and Antique pieces. I started my love affair with dishes years ago when my Grandma gave me her Pink Gooseberry Pyrex Cinderella Bowls as a birthday gift. From that point on, it has been a never ending hunt to find more! However, my favorite set will always be the Pink Gooseberry Bowls my Grandma gave me!  Here are my top 5 reasons to keep Grandma's dishes and How to spot a good vintage buy!

Durability Have you ever noticed that vintage and antique dishes are usually heavy and well made? It's crazy to me that I have dishes that are over 60 years old and they hold up better than some of my newer pieces. Why is this? Back then it …

A Grandmother's love and Why it's important to advocate for your loved ones

I started taking care of my Grandmother full time about 5 years ago. At the time, My husband and I had just completed the transition of our Foster Daughter (For privacy I will call her Sunshine) Sunshine's reunification with her Bio parents. Sweet little sunshine had been in our home for 5 months and in care a total of 18 months. While we knew the goal was and had always been reunification, she was by far our hardest goodbye! So with this difficult transition, We decided to take a short break and concentrate on us after a hard transition. Sometimes, things change and you never know when you will be called into another direction... like a completely other direction. Shortly after Sunshine's departure, I began taking care of my Grandma full time.

A GRANDMOTHER'S LOVE Grandmothers are special aren't they? From the moment you are born, they have a overwhelming desire to love and bond with you! There's nothing to truly describe the bond between a grandmother and grandch…

Dollar Tree $1 Lemon Dishes and Tableware

I think I may own over 100 dishes... Full sets, Single pieces, cake stands...Oh if you only knew my love of dishes! My favorite thing to collect is Vintage Dishes. I have Pyrex, Jadeite, Crinoline, the list could go on and on. I also love Rae Dunn and I have odds and ends that I mix and match with my vintage pieces! I love bright colors which is why Pyrex is my favorite! Today though, I found my new loves at DollarTree! (YES you read that right!)
Today I found these beautiful Lemon Dishes and for one second, I honestly thought I had walked into the wrong store. Greeting me right as I walked in was this Dish display and my heart jumped! Into the basket 8 dinner plates and 8 dessert plates went. They also had lemon bowls, glasses, mugs, place mats and hand towels but I stopped myself from snagging them all up.

Each piece is only $1. What a steal! I bought them to change up my dining room before my Fourth of July tableware comes out. The colors are just beautiful together and truly loo…
